to much rain can cause rot and foaming stumps, I had over 5" of rain in 2 weeks, I found a small bad area and opened up the vine with a knife . I used swimming pool peroxide on the cut and then sulfer. The foaming is not "foaming stump" its just the peroxide doing its job.

I cleaned up the main to allow for better inspection also more air and sunlight will help keep things drier . Fans were added and sulfur applied to all cuts that were made. Glass covers over stump and infected area

DAP 35 est 620 pounds, just had 2.5 inches of rain, it may be all over.

day 40 for the 1756.5 Howell/Jolivette est 800 pounds, the stump is holding and I think the vine is rot free
